Dr. David Wagner, D.C.

Doctor of Chiropractic

My first experience with chiropractic was at the age of 12. My parents were going to a chiropractor who recommended that they have their kid's spine's checked because spinal misalignments or subluxations can be inherited and run in the family. They learned from our chiropractor that these misalignments interfere with the nerves which exit from the spine and transmit messages from the brain to the body and from the body back to the brain. If there is a breakdown in communication from the brain to the body or from the body to the brain then problems will develop. In my case, after a thorough evaluation, the chiropractor found that I had misalignments in a part of my spine that controlled the function of my pancreas and I also had weakness in muscles that were related to the function of the pancreas. With further testing he found that sugar was the cause of this weakness and by eliminating sugar from my diet my body would start to work better on it's own. Having had a family history of diabetes my folks took this advice seriously and took me off sugar. That really was not what a 12 year old wanted to hear! After a few months of being off sugar my muscles got stronger and I began to feel an improvement in how my body worked and felt. I was always a "husky" kid (my mom's nice way of saying I was fat), and after cutting out sugar from my diet I dropped a lot of weight. Now that was something I could get excited about.

That was the defining moment in my life when I knew I wanted to be a chiropractor.

My doctor saved me from the potential of a lifetime of obesity, diabetes and who knows what else.

As the years went by I had back and neck injuries related to playing football and getting into auto accident's. My chiropractor was there to help me through these problems too. He helped to prevent all the chronic spinal problems that my patient's who haven't benefited from chiropractic care from an early age like I have suffer with today. What a cool thing my folks did for me at such a young age. Since that time I have enjoyed the benefits of regular chiropractic check-ups and adjustments. I provide the same type of care for my wife and 4 kids. I recommend the same type of care for my patients.

I now look back on that experience and am grateful to my parent's, my chiropractor and now my patient's who allow me to live out my dream everyday. Over the last 20 years of my career I can honestly say that I love my job and truly look forward to coming to the office everyday with the opportunity to help others and maybe inspire a few to become chiropractors as well.

My promise to you is that when you come to my office you will get my full attention. I will listen to your problem and ask questions to help get a better understanding of your condition. You will get a thorough evaluation, a full explanation of what's wrong and if chiropractic can help you. Treatment is personalized for each individual and will consist of hands on treatment with your goals in mind. Spinal adjustments are the focus of my work. Massage therapy is the other aspect that aids in the healing process and helps what I do work better. I provide chiropractic care on your terms. How long you decide to benefit from chiropractic care is always up to you.

I look forward to meeting you and hope to have an opportunity to help you, your friends and family.

Yours in Health,

Dr. Wagner
